YOGA

Shivananda yoga with Vinoth. Sivananda yoga is based on the teachings of Swami Sivananda and encompasses the Five Points of Yoga, which are:
Proper Exercise (asanas) – yoga to help develop a strong, healthy body by enhancing flexibility and improving circulation
Proper Breathing (pranayama) – deep, conscious breathing to assist with reducing stress
Proper Relaxation – helps the physical body from over stressing and eases worry and tiredness
Proper Diet – simple, healthy vegetarian foods
Positive Thinking (vedanta) and Meditation (dhyana) – the keys to achieving peace of mind and eliminating negativity in your life
The Sivananda yoga style is comprised of breath work (pranayama), twelve core poses (asanas) and periods of relaxation (savasana). This practice leads to a better understanding of the asanas and the ability to live a happier, more peaceful life, as well as improve your physical strength and flexibility.
